| Chisholm, known as the heart
of the Iron Range, began to boom in the early
1900's. A fire nearly wiped out the community in
1908, but the perseverance of the townspeople
carried them through. The city was rebuilt and
continues to celebrate this "rebirth" with their
annual Fire Days Celebration in September.
Today, Chisholm's population is just shy of
5,000 people. |
